The Vajra family has farmed vineyards in Langhe since the 1880’s. At the young age of 15, Aldo Vajra embraced the dream to revive his family’s legacy. Displaying a vision and commitment belying his young age he took over the estate in 1968, turning a new page. Aldo soon acquired the first organic certification of the region in 1971. The “Rosabella'' is made up of 90% Nebbiolo, 10% Barbera, young estate vineyards in Barolo, La Morra, Novello and Serralunga. Saignée was carried out on Nebbiolo, while all other fruit underwent a short skin contact before pressing.
